Thanks to everyone who submitted stories for our Brighton Fringe Show on May 16th. It was, as ever, very difficult to decide. There’s a whole process that has to be gone through involving tea, spreadsheets, votes and several email exchanges so if you didn’t get through don’t despair – just try again next time. We are pleased to announce that the stories for this show will be:
Story Machine by Noam Bergman
We Were Curious About Boys by Ingrid Jendrzejewski
Rescue by Edward Rowe
Nothing To Do In August by Lulu Allison
The Plunge by John Herbert
Four Toes by Naomi Roberts
Mise En Scene by Lel Meleyal
Growing Simon by Jo West
The Glorious and much celebrated Death of William Muggs by Stephen Tuffin
Tickets are onsale now!
Rattle Tales and The Brighton Prize will also be attending the all day WORDSTOCK at Brighton Fringe on May 19th at The Open Market. This looks like it will be an unmissable event for anyone who likes books and hearing stories, there will be stalls from publishers and spoken word groups with signed books for sale, performances and an open mic. Rattle Tales will be hosting an hour of readings from our Brighton Prize shortlist and local authors including Astra Bloom, Lynne E Blackwood, Bren Gosling, Kit Austin and John Herbert.
